And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people
“When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 15 Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place. (2Chronicles 7:13-15)
Our God allowed the current COVID-19 pandemic, and our understanding of his purpose is limited. However, if we God’s people humble ourselves and pray and seek him and repent of our sins sincerely, then he will hear us and forgive our sins and heal our land. God’s eyes will be open and his ears attentive to our prayers. So, come, let us pray in sincere repentance and seek his face! Let us also intercede for our community and our land faithfully as God’s chosen people.
We pray that the current pandemic crisis may turn to an opportunity:
To have a deeper and personal relationship with our Lord Jesus and grow as independent servants of God.
To have an intimate fellowship with our family and worship God together.
To actively connect to friends and coworkers online and offline while keeping social distancing (One beautiful thing God is doing among us nowadays is that He is uniting us as a loving, caring and prayerful community through the current crisis. Praise God!).
To help the needy and lead the lost souls to come to God online and offline.
Sick Coworkers (COVID-19):
India (By M. J*immyLee): “Dr. Amesh’s homecoming ceremony was held last week. He was 45 years old with 2 years old son Albert and a young wife. Indian ritual for the funeral ceremony is mostly cremation but he was buried there as Christian way. We feel responsible for his wife and baby son and Indian coworkers will take care of them. M. J*oyPalaka will start her 3rd chemotherapy from next Monday (because of covid-19 positive, it was delayed 2 weeks) and S. J*ulieAngam did her first chemotherapy last Saturday after operation two weeks before. We have still about 10 Covid positive brothers and sisters and are praying for their early recovery.”

May God encourage more people to participate in this movement and pray for our community!
We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. (Colossians 1:9-12)

Jose Juan Vivas shared his testimony in a Panama online Conference. Sunday Service Off-Line: By the grace of God, public worship services were allowed since November, but under strict bio-security guidelines. We could make 4 offline SWSs and people participate by turns. Pray for restoring our nation to normal, and for us to keep raising disciples and sending out missionaries in spite of disastrous situations. Thanks again for all your prayer and endless support that reminds us of Jehovah Jireh.

Please pray that the repairs and renovations can be done in the right way step by step. May God use this church as a place of worship, prayer, fellowship, and service for Philadelphia young students and beyond.”
And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. Elijah was a human being, even as we are. He prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the land for three and a half years. Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops. (James 5:15-18)

Dr. J*amesHong (NU, Chicago): Dr. James was found to have a 1-inch cancer tumor in his right lung. He went to Korea for medical treatment. Below is an update from him. “There is a change in my treatment plan. After hospitalization, I had an EBUS (endobronchial ultrasound) bronchoscopy on Monday. This procedure was required for preparing the lung cancer surgery. However, they found that a tumor is on one of the important lymph nodes (subcarinal). Surgery cannot be done unless the size of the tumor is reduced. The surgery, which was scheduled on May 6th has been canceled, and I need to go through at least two cycles of neoadjuvant chemotherapy to reduce the size of cancer cells. Each cycle takes about 3 weeks. Thus, I may have surgery at the end of June. It seems that the treatment is getting delayed. However, I believe that God is guiding a medical team to have the best decision for me. It is still good that the cancer is in the lung and eventually will be removed by surgery and chemotherapy. I pray that chemotherapy is effective to kill cancer cells to reduce their size and I may be strong enough spiritually and physically to endure chemotherapy and surgery. I pray that I may deeply meditate Romans 8:28 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." and 1Thessalonians 5:16-18 "Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus."

About two years ago UNHCR told them to go to Portugal to stay in a refugee camp there with a condition to find a job but she couldn't due to a language problem. Therefore, they had to move recently to Germany, where immigration was relatively easy. During the process to get the necessary status, UBF Cologne is helping their families to stay in Germany. The court appeal will be heard in 2 weeks. Please pray that the Lord allows them the necessary status, to stay in Germany and to join Moses too.
